I studied Drawing and Painting at Glasgow School of Art from 1968-1972.
After various career moves including a career in physiotherapy, I was able to return to painting full time in 2004.
I am a keen gardener and along with my physiotherapy training, this has influenced my work. I enjoy trying to express the structure of living forms and the forces they are subjected to along with movement, colour and rhythm.
I work in oils, various water-based mediums and use a variety of drawing tools.
