Born in Glasgow in 1947 – studied Architecture at Strathclyde University and the Interior Design at Glasgow College of building and Printing before starting her own business in1987. After several years she has concentrated more and more on fine art and painting.
Lived in Milngavie for 23 years - but now spends a large part of the time in Morvern on the west coast of Scotland, where she has a studio which allows her to dedicate more time to her love of art and painting.
Member of the Glasgow Society of Women Artists and the RGI – exhibiting throughout Scotland and the UK.
Paints mainly in oils and acrylics – inspiration comes from various sources – the light, colours and shadows of life – Picasso, Matisse, Rousseau and Braque are artists which she admires – she constantly seeks to find new ways of expressing ideas through the medium of paint.
