Sheila Tandy DA
Sheila was born in Glasgow and is a Sculpture graduate of Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen.
After a varied career as a wildlife artist in Zambia, a Property Manager with the National Trust for Scotland, Retail and Museum Manager and Exhibition Designer, she started her own business producing Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh inspired limited edition gesso panels. As well as being in collections worldwide, they were given as gifts to visiting dignitaries to the City of Glasgow. Since producing nine large one-off gesso panels for the Oran Mor Brasserie in Glasgow, most of her work has been commissioned.
She is an elected Artist Member of the Glasgow Southern Art Club, Paisley Art Institute and the GSWA and has served on all three committees. She is a former President of the GSWA and the current Membership Secretary.
